WordPress is a blogging platform. I wrote a theme for it called Slidingdoor which I use on dubbo.org and currently it’s the  most popular theme on the WordPress theme home page. It’s been averaging about  9000 downloads a week.

It probably won’t stay there long so I’ve taken a screenshot!

  1. And I really like it! Thanks for making it, if you ever put out a future revision it would be cool to have a color selector option for the main content area, Black is great for photos but your theme has so many other great possibilities
    Anyway Thank you!

  2. Wayne, I love this theme very much. Can you tell me how to add my custom logo to the header?
    Thanks, Michael

Hi, I like the Sliding Door WordPress theme. I’ve created a menu but don’t see where I would add the images for it. How do I do that? Thanks. – Greg

One other questions about the Sliding Door theme! On your example, each photo has text on the left that is placed sideways – it’s been rotated. I like that. Is this a feature of your theme, so I can type the text and it will automatically appear, or to accomplish that do I need to edit the image, adding the text I want, and then use that edited image that already contains the text? Thanks!

Sir, first THANK YOU! Absolutely LOVE “Slidingdoor”, however, you will see the center column of my site pushes into the secondary (right side) widget area. What have I done wrong?

  7. Wayne,

I have tried, and tried, and tried to get my slider images to appear on the header. I followed the directions and uploaded each image as a feature image, created a menu with different pages, etc…but they STILL won’t show up! It is just blank.

I know you are probably very busy, but I really could use some help ASAP! Thanks.
